Clayton Opera House

This multi-media performance was held on July 17, 2009, a combination of the visual arts and the piano to celebrate the inspiration found along the banks of the St. Lawrence River. Internationally acclaimed Persian pianists, sisters Pari and Ariana Barkeshli, from Paris and New York, respectively, joined together at the Clayton Opera House to perform solo and duo (4 hands) piano works featuring Schubert, Rachmaninoff, Mussorgsky and Persian composer Alireza Mashayeki.

As part of the visual presentation a total of seven pieces submitted by Karen Bockus and Sheila Ballantyne were projected on a 14 foot screen above the pianists. It was very moving, seeing your art displayed so large and in an Opera House!

This is definitely something both would submit for again if offered.
