[Back]  St. Lawrence College has made their selections for a second annual Juried Art Show and Sheila Ballantyne and George Hurst are honoured by having submissions selected. Sheila's "Melancholy George" and "The Point" along with George's "The Rogue" will be featured at the Art Show which runs from June 29th to August 9th 2009. The Opening Reception will be held on Saturday July 11th from 2 to 4 PM at the MVS Gallery. For George this will an initial venture into a juried show. Being in our hometown we are sure there will be lots of comments regarding Sheila's Melancholy George and we can't wait to see the reaction of the portrait feature being an exhibitor as well!! Both Sheila and George are excited to be selected and hope that you will be able to visit the Gallery at St. Lawrence College, Brockville and share the excitement with Inspirations Art Gallery. |
